UN secretary General addressed a report prepared by World Health Organization in the 6th meeting of UN General Assembly in which improvement of roads safety all around the world was seriously requested.
ILNA reported – in this report, Kofy Annan pointed to the significant role of WTO as a coordinator body regarding roads safety issues. It is to be said that more than 1.2 million people are killed and millions of other are injured in road accidents around the world.
